Fostering Design Talent
Umbra collaborates with international designers, educational institutions, and students to nurture new design talent through internship programs, design collaborations, and financial contributions.
An annual design exhibition organized by DesignTO in partnership with Umbra that invites designers to consider opportunities for domestic objects to be both fun and functional. Each year a jury awards a Best in Show product, accompanied by a cash prize, and exhibition visitors cast their vote to award a Fan Favourite product.

YouthLink is a multi-service agency offering youth and family counselling, parenting support, youth shelter and housing, education programs and community-based programs for youth aged 12 to 24 and their families.

As part of a long standing relationship Umbra is a proud and frequent employer of Seneca graduates and has supported hundreds of new students by providing care packs and product to help settle new students.
